Quest nutrition Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Quest Nutrition is a snack food brand marketed towards the health/fitness market segment. Their protein bars were created from a simple idea: food should taste as good as it is good for you with zero compromises. We set out to deliver something that no one had done before and believed that with enough hard work and innovation food could be delicious and good for you. People eat for enjoyment rather than sustenance. That’s why Quest is driven to engineer foods that don’t compromise on taste or nutrition.

An unsatisfied customer writes, "These [Quest nutrition] bars are so hard they could break your teeth out. They have 0 flavor. I can't believe anyone buys them. Are they into self punishment?"

The bars made Jeffrey in New York very sick, "These [Quest Nutrition] bars gave me terrible hand eczema. No other bars do, and no other food does. The eczema started after the last "improved formula" change. Unfortunately, I kept eating the bars for another year after the eczema began, unaware that the Quest Bars were the problem. Since I stopped eating this brand, the eczema has healed and I have had no flareups. I never isolated which ingredient in the bars caused the problem. I did write the company and asked if Quest Bar ingredients are sourced in China. Their response was that they obtain their ingredients "worldwide," which I suppose means "yes."

Cook (Former Employee) says

"Boss road you butt, always you need to speed up, and it's never good enough. Fast enough or tastes good enough, but they burn something and its ok!"

Sales Associate (Former Employee) says

"Aurelia Pollet is the high end director that is planning on changing it all. I'm walking on egg shells. I'm in the sales department. Everyday you feel that pressure to sell. I don't get it. I tried putting a review before but this system was not working. Either way company has a lot of work to be done. Hopefully I'm still there if reading this Cons: Short breaks"

Anything (Former Employee) says

"Disorganized company. They don't hire qualified people with upper management skills. Trying to move too fast for a company that doesn't have an infrastructure and process in place. Cons: Long hours, bad benefits no bonus"

N/A (Current Employee) says

"This company will control your life and consume all your time and energy while other people get all the credit, your efforts go unnoticed. Everybody throws you under the bus instead of doing the actual work, there is no work/life balance. No room for growth they just keep hiring more people. All the happy employees work at corporate. There are cliques, if you work at corporate you are treated better. They mistreat the factory workers and the office people gossip to much. Most unorganized company I have ever worked for and I do not recommend anyone to work here."

Driver (Former Employee) says

"Very unorganized work place. Never had a set schedule. Employees would not show up to work and there were no consequences. Drug paraphernalia would be brought to the work place and management would have no idea. Very poor training with my role not having any specific job duties. Over staffing all the time with a lot of time and money being wasted. Would hire employees with criminal backgrounds. Cons: unorganized small company"

"Don’t bother applying unless you are looking to work in an environment where you are spoken down to, cursed at, asked to become a Jedi and to blindly believe every word the owners say."

Inventory Control Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Completely cutthroat company that doesn't care about it's employees. They consider themselves a tech company, not a food company. None of my colleagues were happy at quest."

"This used to be a fun company that thrived on innovation, but was eventually replaced with a new CEO who had a different mindset. If you are looking for standard corp culture, this place would likely be sufficient."

Production Order Closer (Former Employee) says

"Never the same tasks. It changed from day to day. From machines breaking down to special orders that would require overtime. They never communicated very well with the workers and sometimes the leadership was non existent. I learned a lot because I was on my own most of the time and the pay was decent. It just seems that no one knew what they were doing most of the time."

Quality Control (Former Employee) says

"Multi-tasking and time management skills are quickly acquired in order to keep up with the speed of the production line. The hardest part of the job occurs when you first begin and don't have the required skill set."

Machine Operator (Former Employee) says

"fast working enviroment, managers didnt really care about the people they care more about taking production out, did wouldn´t hessitate to fire someone just to get another peson in. the most enjoyable part would probably be the people i got to work with, the hardest part about my job was working on hot temperatures.
